	About Me I am the Technology Coordinator/Computer Science Instructor at Niños Héroes Academy. I service 3^rd& 4^th grade students once a week and 5^th through 8^th graders twice a week. I really enjoy my job!☺
	School Information Niños Héroes Academy is a K-8 Chicago Public School specializing in Math, Science and Technology. Located on the Southside of Chicago, the school serves over 800 students. One of the main goals of our school is we expect our students to be competitive in managing 21^st century technology.
	About My Students My students are very eager to learn more about technology. To accommodate them I have a Jr. Technolgy Team – better known as the “Early Birds” that meets every morning for an hour at 7:30am. These student range in grades from K-8^th. The Jr. Tech team is open to all students. These students test standalone and networked software, are trained to maintain student workstations and develop webpages. They also help me troubleshoot closed circuit connectivity throughout the school. The Jr. Tech Team students are working on our schools first closed circuit live broadcast. Students are also given time to work on individual or group classroom research projects and multimedia presentations.
