As your teacher, I care about you.  Because I care about you, I have high expectations of you.  I believe you are capable of tremendous achievements.  Because I believe in you, I will expect the following:

• You will bring your homework daily finished and with a proper heading.
• You will show respect for your teacher, your peers, and for yourself.
• You will follow the Rules .
• You will complete in-class assignments by following the directions written, or given to you by your teacher.
• You will have a book available at all times .
• You will come to me for help and guidance without losing respect.
• You will try your hardest to succeed in fourth grade.

What can you expect from me?  I will do the following:

• I will provide you with knowledge and information to help you succeed in fourth grade.
• I will try to make days fun and interesting.
• I will try to be consistent with discipline.
• I will read to you almost daily.
• I will provide guidance for your in-class assignments and homework.
• I will show you the respect you show me.
• I will try my hardest to assist you in succeeding fourth grade.
