All students must have the following forms on file:

• Acceptable use Policy (AUP) Must have it to access the Internet using any computer in the building
• Students in grades 6-8 must have an Email permission slip on file in order to have and use an email account (Epals)
• Must have a release form from Roosevelt University(In accordance with the policy of GEAR-Up students must have release forms on file so that they can be interviewed , have their pictures taken or be video taped to demonstrate Wadsworth technology activities to others.)
  *Students' names will never be used on the Internet.

The curriculum for 3-8 in the computer labs will be updated during the year as Lab Managers and other teachers come up with new ideas and projects for our students to take part in while older ideas are erased. All students use the lab on a daily basis. What takes place in the lab is directly correlated with the collaboration of the classroom teacher.

*All students in grades 5-8 will be required to complete an electronic portfolio. This portfolio will contain examples of students' work in all subject areas. Student portfolios will be updated each year. Students will be able to take their portfolios with them upon exiting Wadsworth School.

**The computer lab is generally open at 7:30 a.m. daily. Students entering the lab at 7:30 will have to have an entry pass in their possession. Passes may be obtained from myself or Mrs. Harper. Students may use the lab after school by appointment only. Students who schedule after school lab appointments will need to have a note from their parent/guardian to verify the parent knows where their child is. Computer lab closes at 2:30 p.m. if there are no scheduled appointments.
