Professional Life:
I am a certified elementary education teacher with a masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I received my bachelor of science degree from Illinois State University and my masters from Loyola University of Chicago. I currently teach at Fuller Language Academy. My areas of concentration include language arts, mathematic and science. I have taught at Fuller for 14 years. I currently serve on the LSC(Local School Counsel) , the internal leadership team and department chairperson.
School Facts:
Fuller Language Academy is located at 4214 S. St. Lawrence in Chicago, Illinois. Our language concentration is Spanish. This is Fuller's first year as a language academy. We will also transition into a magnet cluster school during the 2002-03 school year. Fuller has 3 preschool classrooms and serves students in grades k-8. Fuller is the housing center for the Parents are Teachers First program sponsored by the Chicago Public Schools. You may click on the link to learn more about this program.

Personal Interest:
My interest centers around music. My love for music began in high school. I was introduced to playing clarinet in the concert band where my interest was expanded to include classical and jazz music.
