Welcome to Room 315. My name is Mr, Salvato and our team teacher is Ms. Riebensahm. We are looking forward to another creative, productive and exciting year with your child. School begins at 9:00 a.m. each day and ends at 3:30 p.m.  Students are dismissed from the main (middle door.)

Our fourth grade is self contained, with the exception of auxiliary classes.

These are:    library - Ms. Travis

                    Spanish - Mr. Walter

Please refer to the weekly schedule for days and times for these classes.

Homework - Students usually have homework Monday through Thursday of each week.  Each assignment is assigned a due date.  If a student does not turn in the homework on time, a note will be sent home on the Friday of that week, listing the missing work and page numbers when appropriate.  Please have your child complete these late assignments, sign the notice, and return both the late homework and the signed note on Monday.  If the homework and signed note are not returned the following Monday, I will give you a call that Monday evening to confirm that you have received the notice.

School Forms: Throughout the next week or two students will be receiving forms to bring home, have signed, and return to school. Please sign these forms as soon as possible and send them back to school with your child.

Book Orders - Room 315 orders books from Scholastic Books. Book order forms will be passed out to students each month.  If your child would like to order books, please fill out the form with the books he/she would like to order and the amount due. If you wish to send a check for that amount, please make your check out to Scholastic Books.  If you would rather pay in cash, please send the exact amount.  Please send your check or cash in an envelope with the order form. On the outside of the envelope write your child's name and the words "Scholastic Book Order." It usually takes Scholastic 5 to 10 working days from the time the order is placed to send the books to us.
