Today,  I created background color for my web page. I tried many different color combinations and voila, I finally decided upon a pleasing and attractive contrast.

I also centered my photograph and added text to my homepage.  I enjoyed the challenge and feeling of accomplisment of creating this page and look forward to continuing to developing a digital library.
