Appendix

If you use Internet Explorer, the procedures for managing your bookmarks (Favorites) are similar.
 

To Add a Site to your Favorites List
 

  • Click on FAVORITES and then ADD TO FAVORITES.
  • Click OK.


To Revisit a site on your Favorites List

  • Click on FAVORITES.  Scroll down to the site you want to visit and click on it.


To Organize your Favorites

  • Under the FAVORITES menu, click on ORGANIZE FAVORITES.
  • Favorites can be organized by dragging and dropping them in any arrangement you want.


To Create New Favorites Folders

  • In the Organize Favorites menu, click on CREATE FOLDER.  Give your new folder a name and click on OK.
  • Folders can be arranged by dragging and dropping just like favorites.
  • Favorites can be dragged and dropped into folders or moved by selecting the Favorite and clicking on MOVE TO FOLDER.


Aliases

     While Internet Explorer does not use aliases the same way Netscape does, you can accomplish the same purpose with the following steps.

  • Go to FAVORITES and then ORGANIZE FAVORITES.
  • Highlight the favorite you wish to make a copy (alias) of.
  • Right-Click on the alias and select COPY.
  • Highlight the folder you want to place the alias in and right-click on it.  Select PASTE.


Deleting Favorites

  • Select the Favorite that you want to delete.  Press the delete key.


Renaming Favorites

  • Go to FAVORITES and then ORGANIZING FAVORITES.
  • Select the Favorite you want to rename and click on RENAME.  Type the new name in the box and hit ENTER.
