Creating Folders for Bookmarks

After bookmarking numerous sites you may find that the list has become quite long and cumbersome. At this point, it will save you time to group sites together. The grouping can be alphabetical, by subject, by category, or some other useful format. This can be accomplished by creating a folder

To Create a Folder:

  • Click on BOOKMARKS to open BOOKMARKS WINDOW
  • Click on EDIT BOOKMARKS to open the BOOKMARKS WINDOW
  • Click on the icon above where you want to place the new folder.
  • In the BOOKMARK WINDOW open the FILE MENU
  • Click on NEW FOLDER. This will display the BOOKMARKS PROPERTIES dialog box.
  • Type the name of the new folder in the dialogue box.
  • Click OK.
  • Drag and drop the desired bookmarks into the new folder.
