Filing Bookmarks in Folders

When the list of bookmarks gets so long that it takes too much time to locate the site you want to open, it will make your life easier to file the bookmarks in folders.(You created folders earlier in the tutorial)  If you need a quick refresher click on Back to Contents and return to folder page.

To place a site that you are viewing directly toa folder follow these steps.
 

Filing Bookmarks

     Note:  This is available only on the PC.
 

  • Click on BOOKMARKS.
  • Select FILE BOOKMARKS.  A menu will open that will display all of the folders.
  • Select the folder that you want to store the site in.  This willput the site directly into that folder. 
Filing Bookmarks on a MAC
  • Click on BOOKMARKS.
  • Click on ADD BOOKMARK
  • Click on EDIT BOOKMARKS
  • Now just drag and drop the bookmark to the desired folder.
