Create Activities for the Web Worksheet
(print this out)

Note: If there is not enough room on this form, use a separate sheet of paper to record your answers.

1. List at least five elements of engaged learning that you found at the engaged
learning web sites.

Define engaged learning in your own words.

2. K - What do you know about engaging, web-based lessons?

3. W - What do you want to learn?  What do you need to know in order to create
an engaging, web-based lesson?

4. List the sites that you visited. Include a brief description and critique using
the criteria provided on the Home Page (software, appeal, etc...). Which ones
did you find superior and why? Would you use it in your classroom?  Not every
lesson or activity must meet all the criteria listed.  Consider audience and
when evaluating these lessons and creating your own.

5. L - What have you learned? Look back at your responses to number 1 and 2 above.
Were your questions answered? Do you have new ones? Do you feel ready to
work on a web-based activity of your own?  Remember to assess your own work
based on the same criteria you used for #4.
