WIT Homeroom Module:
Curriculum Standards

developed by Nenette Luarca, Nicole Zumpano, and Linda Dernbach

Since there is no right and sure-fire way to always address the Illinois State Goals and Chicago Academic Standards in interesting yet simple ways, this "tutorial" will be more of an exploration of the topic than a "how-to".

Whether you want to use what already exists on the Web to address the standards, create your own standards-based module, or explore what others have to say about standards-based learning,  choose one of these topics:

Addressing the standards with existing Web-based modules

Creating a standards-based module(WIT Advanced) or lesson plan (WIT Basic) for the Web

Teaching guide for this tutorial
