General Information about WIT 2000

Lane credit: 3 units available for CPS Teachers who successfully compelte WIT; fee is $20.

Graduate Credit: every participant who successfully completes WIT is eligible to receive one unit of U of Chicago graduate credit, after paying a fee of $100. Transcripts cost $7 through the Registrar after the class is over.

Participants must meet following criteria to receive Lane Credit or Graduate Credit. Also, CUIP participants must meet these criteria to received their CUIP stipend:

  • Can miss only 2 days (or 4 half-days)
  • If later than 1/2 hour late, counts as 1/3 absence
  • For Advanced, full participation in creation of complete curriculum web
  • For Basic, has created personal web page, list of relevant links (10+ links), and web-based lesson
  • Attends lunches and plenaries
