Organization and Structure of WIT 2000
The Web Institute for Teachers consists of the following organizational
elements:

Each homeroom has two mentors. Mentors will do the following:
- oversee the basic organization of each day's work (attendance, site
of the day, teaming, assignments, schedule, presentations, etc.)
- provide introductory training and overviews of more advanced topics
during homerooms
- answer the specific questions of individual participants and teams
of participants (or to refer these questions to other mentors or to
the director)
- establish and maintain standards for the quality of work
- assist with setup and maintenance of the Institute's server file
structure
- administer pre- and posttests and evaluations (of modules or "shelves")
- organize and administer the process by which Institute participants
choosing special topics
teach one or more "special topics workshops" during the Institute
