What is web-based curriculum (or "curriculum web")?
"a plan for a sustained process of teaching and learning, in which teaching and learning is facilitated with a linked set of web pages, providing explicit guidance to the learner and also providing access to selected web-based materials"

What are we going to do today?

Today we will finish our classroom pages. Remember, to create the pages and links you want. Add some content (you can always finish before school starts). Dress up pages with graphics and colors, afterwards. Use the rubric when checking your pages.

Web Site Design:

Aim
The goal of Web Site Design is to teach WIT participants to create a web site with easy-to-use navigation elements and a consistent overall site structure.

Rationale
A well-designed web site is a good way for teachers to introduce their students to the World Wide Web. It allows students to browse web sites created by their teachers with links and activities which correlate to the classroom curriculum.

Finish your classroom page.
