Now we're going to insert a couple tables into your web site.
Huh? What are tables, you ask? And why do I need to use them?
Read on.

VH1 Presents...Behind the Computer: Tables
This is the true story of tables and its meteoric rise to stardom.
Tables are, simply put, a series of rows and columns that help
keep images and text in their proper places. Without tables,
it is next to impossible to put that classroom picture to the
right of your beautiful mug. In fact, I used a whole bunch of
tables to create the web page you're looking at right now. Tables
may not make sense to you right now, but believe me when I tell
you that you're better off tackling it in the present than waiting
until you get frustrated when nothing stays put on your page.
I hope that helped and let's get started. Okay, how that fit in
with VH1 is anyone's guess.

How to Insert and Create Tables

1. Place your cursor on the Composer page where
you want the table to appear. |

2. Click on the Table button 
on the Composition Toolbar. A window should appear that looks like
this. |

|
3. There are a number of details
in this window which are of importance, but the first thing you want
to do is select the number of rows and columns you wish to create.
Now, don't fret too much about this because you can always add or
take away rows and columns later. So, for our purposes, put a "3"
in the "rows" field and a "2" in the "columns"
field. |

4. Click "OK." Your Composer
page should look something like this. |

|
Congratulations! You've just created your very
first table. Now, get going on to the next section so we can fill
in some of the cells of the table you just created.
