Instructional Plan This module is intended to be very short. It is also intended to make life a little easier for participants and mentors. In the first activity participants will create a WIT desktop folder with subfolders to hold some of their files. Content and titles for subfolders have been suggested, but it is to be expected that modifications will be made to fit. Mentors may want to introduce the first activity, and then let participants complete it. Time to complete: about 10 minutes.

The second activity is a reference that may be used by mentors and participants when needed. Its main purpose is to help mentors with some of the repetitive questions. Participants often have trouble with writing file names, saving files, remembering where they saved files, or remembering the content of files. Mentors may want to lead participants through the pages, and then refer participants to them as needed. Time to introduce and summarize: about 10 minutes.

Assessment/Evaluation Participants will use files and folders to create a usable, orderly worksite. They will also use the reference section as needed. An evaluation form for the module is accessable from the bottom of the first first page. The evaluation is sent to the author's email. (Back to Contents)
