To Download and Install Ace FTP 2 Freeware

Macintosh Users, click here.

To download aceftp2free.exe, go to http://cuip.uchicago.edu/downloads/FTP/

Once there, you see the contents of the folder. Find aceftp2free.exe and click to download.

Netscape 6 opens the window below. If it doesn't show "My Download Files" as the folder to save your file into, you may want to browse to that folder, then click "save" to save your file there.

After the download is finished, open Windows explorer, browse to the folder "My Download Files", find the file aceftp2free.exe. Double click to open the file, and follow the installation instructions to install the program.

Macintosh Users: AceFTP runs only on Windows computers.On the CUIP website, at http://cuip.uchicago.edu/software/MAC/FTP/, you can download and install Fetch 3.03 files.

A Google search for "Macintosh FTP" listed these descriptions of two ftp programs for Macintosh. The Fetch program is a newer shareware version of the Fetch program mentioned above. You can use the newer Fetch for a 15 day trial. The Panic program is also shareware, but does not show a time limit on their page.
