Download this program at http://cuip.uchicago.edu/software/TELNET-AND-SSH/ssh.com/ . On this page, click the SSHWinSecureShell-we.. file to download it.
Netscape 6 opens the window below. If it doesn't show "My Download Files" as the folder to save your file into, you may want to browse to that folder, then click "save" to save your file there.
After the download is finished, open Windows explorer, browse to the folder "My Download Files", find the file SSHWinSecureShell-web.exe. Double click to open the file, and follow the installation instructions to install the program.

Macintosh Users: SSH Secure File Transfer runs only on Windows computers. Note: These commands should work on either Windows or Macintosh Comptuers. Telnet comes with the Windows operating system. If you search your Macintosh for "telnet" you may find a telnet program that you can use on your machine.
If not, you may want to download and install a telnet program.
There is a telnet program on the CUIP website at http://cuip.uchicago.edu/software/MAC/TELNET/. Click on bettertelnet-2.0fc1... to download and install. After installation, run the program and then do the activity on this page.
