Composer is a free and easy to use web page editor you can download from the Netscape site. It's WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor allows you to see what your page will look like, in the browser, as you create it. It's not a template. It allows for much more creativity and individuality. Begin a new page in Composer and use the following lessons to create your own professional web page(s). Please note that the links are portable document files. Click here if you need the Acrobat Reader Plug-In to read PDF format. Start with the first lesson. Each will open in a separate window. When you finish, close the window to return to this page and continue with the next lesson. Introducing Your Software Creating Your First Web Page Working with Text, Layout, and Links Dealing with Images When you finish, publish your page and use the rubric to assess your work. Make changes as needed and update your page often.
