IOTA Homeroom: July 24

Return to IOTA HomePage
Overview of our next 8 days

I. Opening

Site of the day (Joann). Word of the day (Alex).

Look at "Wules of the Web". Print it if is looks like something you need by your side.

II. Working on your WebQuest

Today the entire time will be given over to working on WebQuests, with maybe an interruption or two to explain things that seem to to be common troubles.

Be sure you ask for help, ask if you are not sure.

Our goal is to finish the Teachers' sections of WebQuests today (or the students' section if that is what you chose to start with.)

Once finished, we you should FTP them to the server and look at them online.

  • Check links and images to see that they work/appear
  • Check to see that your fonts and backgrounds appear as you expected them to.
  • Look for other problems of things not appearing as you had meant them to appear.
  • At the same time, do a regular proof reading for spelling, grammar, consistency, etc.

Good Luck!
