II. Looking ahead
1. Remember
to turn in forms and checks for lane credit.
2. On Friday go straight to
BSLC for 10:00 a.m. Plenary.
3. Tomorrow we will fill out evaluation forms and have students demonstrate
their webquests. Not much time for work.
4. Remember to create an implementation plan which is linked
to your teacher page.

III. Using
Critical Friends and putting final touches on WebQuests
Students
work with "Critical
Friends" of their choosing. Guiding
Question: If other teachers with similar needs should come
across this WebQuest, would it be clear enough to be of
use to them
and attractive enough to gain their attention.
Specific questions:
- Are the basics
there?
Both student and
teacher pages?
Do they have: Introduction,
Task, Process, Evaluation, Conclusion or the equavalent.
Does the evaluation section have Illinois Standards?
Does the Teacher Page have a link to an implementation Page?
- Organization:
Are the statements made
clear?
Is the task well enough explained that students can be expected
to go about it without a lot of further explanation?
Is the time frame reasonable?
Are the resources adequate to the task?
- Technical
Is there an active link for the teacher's email?
Are the links to the different sections of the document clear and
easy to understand?
Do all links work properly?
Are spelling and grammar correct throughout?
Is the font size and type consistent throughout?
Do images actually lend to the presentation, or do they distract
from it?
Do the pages have a clear, neat and attractive appearance?
