July 10th Homework for Lambda
This can be done during class time while Robin and Michelle are at the mentor meeting and at home this evening for extra practice and reinforcement.
1. Create a folder on your desktop and name it Lambda.
2. Open the Lambda folder and create a new folder inside, name it practice.
3. You may now close the folder window.
4. Open a blank page in Netscape Composer.
5. Type in your name, a few sentences about yourself, and how you are feeling so far about WIT.
6. Save this document in your practice folder. Click on save as in the file drop down menu to choose your folder, name the file, and save it. (Remember: Your practice folder should be inside your Lambda folder which is on your desktop. For extra help, please review the modules we worked on today in class.
7. Now that you have saved what you've done so far, start editing the font, page background color, etc. in order to familiarize yourself with the composer tools. Remember to save periodically.
8. You will be asked to share your experiences tomorrow.
