  1. Site of the Day
  2. Practice:(Make a page that links to useful educational activities.) Time needed: 45 minutes. Why: The more you practice, the better you will be. Next week we will consider how to link these practice pages together to make them more useful to you.) Practice
  3. On the projects page, check your profile. If there are parts that can be improved,....... The profile page rubric (which is not much of a rubric) is still here .....
  4. How to Find Existing Resources —Aim: This module is designed to provide WIT participants with effective strategies for finding information on the Web. —Rationale Locating the information that meets your needs requires the acquisition of new skills, as well as the fine tuning of traditional research skills. The Web houses an infinitely large amount of information that is useful to many people in many ways, but there is no central central guide or card catalog to help users locate the information for which they are searching. This makes it difficult for users to know how to approach the Web when they are not sure where the specific information they need is located. This module will provide hints and tips for transferring research skills used in a traditional library and provide new Web-specific skills for locating the information that you need.
  5. Work on an outline of your webquest. You might consider a template...

Illinois Learning Standards are here.

Show your webquest outline to your neighbors and your mentors. Get and give opinions and help.
