Please read the entire page before you start.

One of the goals of WIT is to allow us to manage our own learning. Everyone in the NU homeroom seems to be at that point. Everyone is working to acquire learning that they see as valuable to them, and no one seems to be ready to allow themselves or their neighbors to be left behind. Keep going.

Open a new Composer page.

1. Center your cursor at the top of the page, choose Heading 2, and then write the title "Websites" there.
2. Use Format | Page Title and Properties and in the window, change the title of the page to "Websites".
3. Save your page into the practice folder: use the file name "websites".
4. Make a 1 column by 5 row table. Center the table on the page.
5. Use Table | Table Properties to change the width of the table to 40%

You have seen many excellent web activites in the modules you have examined. Use these links (and/or any bookmarks you have made) go to those pages that have educational activities that you may be able to use during the next year. Make a personal list of links on the Composer page you just created.

Introduction to Webquests

For this practice, use the same methods we used yesterday

• to open 5 pages which contain the activities of your choice,
• copy the urls and
• paste them as links into your new Composer page table.

If you have time, do more than 5 links. You might also insert an appropriate image somewhere onto the page, change the background, etc.

After each operation, save your file.

Use ftp to upload your file.
