The aim of this module is to provide you with the information you need to successfully design a web page using Netscape Composer. The tutorial is designed to be self paced, with a navigation table placed on the top of each page to quickly gain access to specific tasks based on your need at the time.

What is Netscape Composer?

Netscape Composer is an HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) editor that will enable you to design and edit web pages
It is a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor so your finished web page will look the same as it does when you are designing it
You do not have to know HTML to use Composer, it is as easy as using a word processor. It is possible, however, to view or edit the HTML source code (which can be located under the View menu)
Netscape Composer is available for free, enabling you to work on web pages on any computer that Netscape is downloaded on
