Getting Started
The aim of this module is to provide you with the information you need to
successfully design a web page using Netscape Composer. The tutorial is designed
to be self paced, with a navigation table placed on the top of each page to
quickly gain access to specific tasks based on your need at the time.
What is Netscape Composer?
- Netscape Composer is an HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) editor that will
enable you to design and edit web pages
- It is a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor so your finished web
page will look the same as it does when you are designing it
- You do not have to know HTML to use Composer, it is as easy as using a word
processor. It is possible, however, to view or edit the HTML source code (which
can be located under the View menu)
- Netscape Composer is available for free, enabling you to work on web pages
on any computer that Netscape is downloaded on
