Introduction to Using the Web in the Classroom

General Introduction to WIT

WIT's "Using the Web in the Classroom" is designed for participants who have some experience using computers for personal productivity, including word processing. Participants should be able to use a mouse and keyboard and know how to copy and move files from diskette to hard disk. Although prior email or web experience is not required for participants in WIT Basic, this is NOT a basic computer-training course, but rather focuses on the Internet and World Wide Web.

Homerooms following the "Using the Web in the Classroom" strand are:

EPSILON (morning, Wadsworth 209)

IOTA (morning, Wadsworth 211)

LAMBDA (morning, Wadsworth 215)

XI (morning, BSLC 018)

ETA (afternoon, Wadsworth 209)
