WIT 2004: Using the Web in the Classroom

Open to all CPS Teachers.

When: July 6 to July 23, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm OR 1 pm to 5 pm

Where: Medill Professional Development Center

Audience: Teachers just beginning to use the Web with their students.

Goals: (1) to introduce teachers to ways of using the Web in their classrooms; (2) to provide opportunities to practice searching and resource evaluation skills; (3) to provide training in how to build Web pages with SchoolNet; (4) to help teachers develop WebQuests relevant to their students and subject areas.
