WIT 2004 Magnet Cluster Application Information

The deadline for applications has been extended. The application process is still open.

Application Process

  1. the magnet cluster application form (only available online)
  2. a letter of recommendation from your principal or other supervisor

A letter of recommendation from your principal or magnet cluster administrator is required and must be received by June 1, 2004 . The letter should address the following issues (as applicable to your situation):

  • his or her vision of the use of technology at your school or business
  • the specific role that you have played in helping to realize that vision
  • your effectiveness as a teacher and also as a learner
  • how your participation in WIT could help you and your school

The letter should be mailed to Craig A. Cunningham, Director, Web Institute for Teachers, Center for School Improvement, 1313 E. 60th Street, Chicago IL 60637. Letter may also be emailed directly from the recommender to c-cunningham@uchicago.edu.
