What: The Web Institute for Teachers (WIT) is an intensive summer seminar designed to help preK-12 teachers integrate the World Wide Web into their curriculum. WIT presents a holistic, comprehensive approach to planning effective teaching and learning that incorporates multimedia resources. Participants gain a greater understanding of how to search the Web, evaluate Web-based materials, find and adapt lesson plans, and plan for successful technology integration in the classroom. When & Where: July 12 through July 30 All sessions will be from 8:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. South Cook ISC 4 253 West Joe Orr Road Chicago Heights , IL 60411 Cost: This training is being offered at no cost to participants. Registration: Complete the attached application form and return it as specified. In order to maintain the integrity of the Web Institute for Teachers, registration is limited to 20 participants. Participants must be able to commit to attending all sessions. Advance registration is required and will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis after review of the applications received.
