NATURAL RESOURCES
Nigeria, in addition to its large population is richly endowed with forest, marine, mineral and agricultural resources. It's multiple vegetation areas, plentiful rain, surface and underground water resources are very important to the country. Cocoa, cotton, groundnuts, oil palm, and rubber generate the most money for Nigeria. The rain forest is where they get most of their timber, which is used for various things ( making wood products of exotic and popular species). Nigeria's natural resources are an important part of the economy.
Oil and natural gas are the most valuable minerals in Nigeria. There are other important minerals, that aren't oil-based, Nigeria produce; coal, iron, ore, lime-stone, columbine and gold
WILDLIFE
The wildlife in Nigeria is housed mainly in their National Parks ( Yankari National Park). When not in parks the wildlife get their food and water from the rain forest in Nigeria. When tourist visit Nigeria they generally visit a national park to see the elephants, hippos, monkeys, baboons, and lions.
GOVERNMENT & ECONOMY
Nigeria is a country that consist of 36 states. Lagos use to be the capital of Nigeria, but as of 1991 Abuja became the capital. However, Lagos remains the country's economic capital and main gateway to Nigeria.
The constitution sets the standards, by which, the federal government must follow to run the country. Nigeria's federal government consist of three main branches; Executive, Legislative, and Judicial.
