  • Introduction

    This curriculum module "Learning about Africa: Nigeria the Hidden Gem" is designed to correct information and knowledge students have about the continent of Africa. This curriculum web will redirect the misconceptions students have about the cities, people, places and resources of Africa. Therefore, students will recognize Ar fica as a HIDDEN GEM! Students will have the opportunity to discover the many aspects of this glorious continent through guided computer activities. Students will also become more confident in exploring the internet through this curriculum.

    Aim

    This curriculum web will provide elementary school children with a realistic understanding of the continent Africa through the city of Nigeria.

    Rationale

    This curriculum web will give students the opportunity to explore the country of Nigeria to get information about the city, people, places and resources. They will gather their information by visiting Nigeria through the internet.
