Krazy Keyboarding for Kids

INTRODUCTION

Proper technique forms the foundation for successful touch keyboarding. Whenever students are operating a keyboard they should be observed closely. Correct Posture and technique cannot be over emphasized.

This unit will teach students the basic keys and functions of the keyboard including:

 

POSTURE / SIT CORRECTLY

Sit straight with your back against the chair.

Keep feet flat on the floor, if possible.

Keep elbows relaxed at sides.

Keep wrists low.

Don't let your wrists rest on the keyboard frame.

Keep fingers curved a little.
