Type Now-Who says learning to type can't be fun? Type Now! teaches you painlessly while you play two fun arcade games. (OK--there's some pain, but you'll be too busy trying to better your score to really notice!) Type Now! has two modes: a single-letter drill game, and practice mode for phrases and sentences. Its timing algorithm reports a wpm score for the phrase or sentence you're currently typing, plus an overall average, but doesn't begin timing until you press the first key--no penalty for taking time to read the phrase you're supposed to type, like some other tutors.

Captain Keyboard-At the Cadet Training School you will learn finger placement and practice until you have the basic keyboard skills to move on to the actual game. With each correct keystroke you gain a point, with each incorrect stroke you will lose 4 points. Work you way up in the Hall of Champions as your skills improve.

Slam Dunk Typing-Turn a learning task into a game of one-on-one. Players challenge their typing skills against the pros as they cruise down the court to groovy tunes. Take a look at the onscreen hands that show where fingers should be on the keyboard.
