Introduction

Hello!  Are you ready to learn more about frogs?
I hope so.  We are going to have so much fun.

When you finish this webquest, you will understand the lifecycle of the frog.
You will know what Metamorphasis means.  Then you will know what frog skin feels like.  You will be able to go back and forward and find Links on the Internet.

There will be three jobs for you to do.

Job 1-how do I do it?

1.  Frog Skin

You will need:

Mix the jello and water in the cup.  It will be sticky.  Spread it on the back of your hand.  Let it dry.  Move your hand.  What does it feel like?  Do you look like a frog?  When you are done, you can eat it.

Job 2

2.  Observation-Watch a tadpole grow!

Frog Lifecycle

We will watch the tadpoles every day.  You will write what you see in your journal.  If nothing happens, write a prediction or your feelings about the tadpole.

Metamorphasis

How many days or weeks will it take for the tadpole to change to a frog?

Job 3

3. Visitors
When the tadpoles begin to grow legs, we will invite other classrooms to visit us.  Talk with other kids about what you have learned.  You can show them your journals and story books!
