  • Aim The aim of this curriculum web is to expose students to a variety of resources dealing with WWI that allows them to a. develop important internet skills b. speak and write about world war i with fluency c. draw important conclusions about the causes, effects, and major events of WWI and d. experience multimodal learning

  • RationaleThrough this curriculum, students will explore the causes and effects of WWI and they will analyze maps, photos, and documents fromthe time period so they can speak, read, and write about WWI with fluency.

  • It is impossible to fully understand our world today without grasping many of the key concepts pertaining to WWI. WWI ushered us into a new century with a totally revolutionized form of warfare and globalization. Blah blah, will continue

  • Audience This lesson is intended for 9th grade world studies students but may be adapted for other grade levels.

  • Prerequisites some knowledge of European geography, some knowledge of the industrial revolution

  • Subject-Matter social studies and its five main branches- geography, politics, economics, history, and social
