The intergration of science, math, and literature using technology as a visual medium is necessary for students to functions in todays society.

-become visually aware of detail in the national and constructed environment.
-recognizing the connections between science, math, literature and art.

Audience

This module is apropriate for students in grades 5-9.  It can be modified for other grade levels.

Prerequisites

This is a begining unit for a variety of subjects to be investigated.  Therefore, no prior knowledge of the various subjects is required.  Teachers should familiarize students with basic computer skills.

Subject-Matter

This unit will focus on what the teachers specific lesson will be on.

Instructional Plan


-guide students through the viewing experience of the different subjects that are presented.
-explain and demaonstrate basic computer skills.
-have students find more information on that particular subject.
-display, view, and discuss the students works.

Materials

-internet accessable computers.
-a list of descriptive volcabulary words pertaining to assignment given.
-other supplies that are related to the assignment studied at that time.

Assessment and Evaluation

-articulate his/her own explaination of the outcome of the project completed.
-if project apllies put it on the internet for display.
-understand the work itself and the process  for the final outcome.
